TDILP Information Prior to the 2021-2022 Year
Requirements to be Eligible for TDILP
- May be available to students enrolled in a qualifying degree program.
- Qualifying Degrees for students first receiving the TDILP in 2019-2020 or 2020-2021
are:
- Information Systems and Technology (AAS & AS), Information Systems (BS), Computer
Science (AAS, AS/AA, & BS), and Information Technology (BS)
- Students enrolled in an eligible Associate degree must have completed at least 1 full
time semester or equivalent credit hours.
- Students enrolled in an eligible Bachelor degree must have completed at least 2 full
time semesters or equivalent credit hours.
- Must be enrolled full time.
- Must start working in a qualifying job, in Utah, one year after completion of degree.
- Work in a qualifying job, in Utah, for at least the same number of years of loan received.
- Qualifying jobs for students first receiving the TDILP in 2019-2020 or 2020-2021 are:
- Software Developers - Applications, Management Analysts, Computer Systems Analysts,
Computer and Information Systems Managers, Network and Computer Systems Administrators
How Do I Know If I Am Eligible
- The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office will run a report and contact students who
are eligible.
- If eligible, an email notification will be sent to your myUVU Gmail account.
- Awards will be offered and accepted through SCHOLARSHIPUNIVERSE.
What Do I Do After I Have Accepted the Loan Through Academic Works?
- Once funds have been accepted, student will have 30 days to complete disclosure paperwork
with Collections.
- The Master Promissory Note will be signed with the UVU COLLECTIONS OFFICE.
- Once the Promissory Note has been signed, funds will be disbursed after 3 business
days. Students may cancel their request with Collections within 3 business days after
signing the Promissory Note without penalty.
