The Clubs Executive Board is comprised of nine (9) Club Ambassadors. As a Club Ambassador, you’ll help oversee 12-15 of the 120+ clubs on campus. Clubs are created by students, for students, and operated by students. The Clubs Executive Board assists clubs in programming, advertising, recruiting, fundraising, etc. This is accomplished through hosting training events, providing club funding, organizing club rush and other office-sponsored events.

Club Ambassadors should be prepared to spend time in the office answering emails, creating club events in Campus Groups, and working in small group teams. Club Ambassadors will also need to work outside of their office hours to complete the 10-15 hour per week requirement. This time is spent meeting with club leadership, where you assist, train, and support clubs as needed. Other tasks include but are not limited to managing the Clubs Office social media platforms, creating training videos, planning Clubs Office events, attending events for their respective clubs, and any other tasks assigned by the Clubs Manager.

An Adventure Trip Leader (ATL) is a leader who is dedicated, passionate about the outdoors, and committed to education. An ATL is interested in sharing knowledge and experience with others. As an ATL, one has the opportunity to lead in many different aspects such as: outdoor education clinics, team building, movie premiers, classroom presentations, promotions, and adventure learning excursions.

The outdoors is the driving force of the program. As the participant is led from the inside classroom to the outside classroom, one is permitted to enjoy nature in its purest sense, without the many distractions of everyday life.

Students applying must have a 2.75 GPA. Students should expect to lead one day trip, one multi-day excursion, attend all required meetings and trainings, and become certified to operate university vehicles to their position.

The Clubs Executive Board is comprised nine (9) Club Ambassadors. As a Club Ambassador, you’ll help oversee 12-15 of the 120+ clubs on campus. Clubs are created by students, for students, and operated by students. The Clubs Executive Board assists clubs in programming, advertising, recruiting, fundraising, etc. This is accomplished through hosting training events, providing club funding, organizing club rush and other office-sponsored events.

Club Ambassadors should be prepared to spend time in the office answering emails, creating club events in Campus Groups, and working in small group teams. Club Ambassadors will also need to work outside of their office hours to complete the 10-15 hour per week requirement. This time is spent meeting with club leadership, where you assist, train, and support clubs as needed. Other tasks include but are not limited to managing the Clubs Office social media platforms, creating training videos, planning Clubs Office events, attending events for their respective clubs, and any other tasks assigned by the Clubs Manager.

Dance Team

The UVU Dance Team’s main purpose is to provide spirit and entertainment at all home athletic events, in addition to several other campus and community events. The Dance team competes each year on the national level and has held multiple national champion titles. This program offers up to a 1/2 to full tuition waiver for fall and spring semester. New Student Orientation Leaders are fun, friendly, and enthusiastic Wolverines who assist incoming UVU students, as well as their parents and family members, by introducing the campus and its resources, speaking about the transition from high school to college, and acting as a representative of Utah Valley University.

 Orientation leaders provide information about university life using personal experiences, and encourage new students to establish meaningful connections with other first-year students. Orientation Leaders actively engage with students and families who attend Jumpstart Orientation while providing an energetic and welcoming environment for all new Wolverines.

An Adventure Trip Leader (ATL) is a leader who is dedicated, passionate about the outdoors, and committed to education. An ATL is interested in sharing knowledge and experience with others. As an ATL, one has the opportunity to lead in many different aspects such as: outdoor education clinics, team building, movie premiers, classroom presentations, promotions, and adventure learning excursions.

The outdoors is the driving force of the program. As the participant is led from the inside classroom to the outside classroom, one is permitted to enjoy nature in its purest sense, without the many distractions of everyday life.

Students applying must have a 2.75 GPA. Students should expect to lead one day trip, one multi-day excursion, attend all required meetings and trainings, and become certified to operate university vehicles to their position.
