The UVU School of the Arts attracts those with sufficient talent and passion for a career in the Arts and challenges them to hone imagination, creativity, and innovation as they secure the knowledge, skills, and experiences vital to their success. It also enlivens, enhances, and enriches UVU and its extended community through courses about the Arts, participation in or with the Arts, and public exhibits and performances.

Museum of Art at Lakemount

The UVU Museum of Art, formerly the Woodbury Art Museum, is a dynamic institution recognized for engaged and diverse exhibitions, programs, and partnerships. Since the museum’s founding in 2002, it has been a hub for art experiences and education in the community. The museum will soon reopen at a new location at Lakemount Manor, which will bring expanded opportunities for exhibitions, programming, and educational support. Currently in the last phase of the renovation, museum funding needs include naming opportunities, programming, and endowment support. Join us in supporting the expansion of the arts in the Utah Valley community.

Student Scholarships and Support

With growing numbers of students and shrinking state support, Utah Valley University depends increasingly on scholarships funded by donors. Scholarships provide access to talented students who may otherwise not be able to afford higher education. Scholarships also provide an opportunity to recruit high-achieving students who will set a standard of excellence in the arts at UVU. You can help support a UVU student by making a donation to the SOA scholarship fund. Endowed and spendable scholarships are also available to donors with naming opportunities to assist students in perpetuity or per semester/year.

College and Department Funding

In the School of the Arts, we understand the inherent and unique power of the arts to engage and transform. The arts are not only a gateway to self-discovery but also a driver of cultural change. As a school of performing and visual arts, active and engaged learning practices are at the heart of what we do. From creative work and research to academic performances and exhibitions, our students engage, present, and connect. You can support the students of Art & Design, Dance, Music & Theatre through your contribution. School of the Arts and department funding includes naming opportunities, as well as department special projects. Join us in improving learning opportunities and supporting innovation and creativity at UVU.
