Program Details

Learn first hand about the institutions that link Europe together, and Europe to the United States. We will spend two weeks in some of Europe's informal "capital" cities: Paris and Strasbourg, France; Brussels, Belgium; and The Hague, Netherlands. Between these four cities, you'll visit the French Senate, a US consulate, NATO headquarters, the EU's parliamentary buildings, and the International Court of Justice. Students will come away with a stronger understanding of US interests and alliances in Europe, how the European Union functions in twenty-first century Europe, and what career opportunities can be found in these settings.
