Program Details

The program time line includes three days in Madrid at the front of the program followed by a four -week stay in SevilleIn Seville students will receive instruc tion from me as well as instruction from instructors at CLIC and will stay with Spanish families who will pr ovide their roo m and board. On a daily basis after classes and mid-day meals, students will b e immersed in the culture of Seville and environs. Weekends will be spent on longer excursions including one weekend iGranada to visit the Alhambra and one unplanned weekend so students can travel wherever their heart desires and their pocketbook allows.

Anticipated Curriculum

*Students are expected to enroll in one or two courses for this study abroad.


Program Requirements*

Must be 18 years of age at the time of departure

Minimum G.P.A.: 2.0

Physical requirements: Significant amount of daily walking, hiking, field trips that involve walking several miles.

Estimated Program Fee*

Fee covers housing, some meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), transportation in country, excursions, international insurance.

All students are required to pay a non-refundable $75 application fee.

Tuition Waivers

Please contact the UVU Benefits Office for more information. In certain instances, tuition waivers may not apply for an international program.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Pell Grants and Federal Insured Student Loans may be applied to the program, based on eligibility. Applicant must have a current FAFSA form on file at the Financial Aid Office (BA 105) and complete all necessary application forms for financial aid.
