Program Details

This program offers theatre students the opportunity to study theatre in the UK by attending a diverse range of professional performances and training with working professionals in London'd West End. In addition, students will travel to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - one of the largest art festivals in the world.

Anticipated Curriculum

*Students must enroll in two courses for this study abroad.

THEA 1013: Introduction to Theatre
Prerequisite(s): none

THEA 3721: Theatre History and Literature 1
Prerequisite(s): THEA 1013, THEA 1713, (ENGL 2010 or ENGL 2020), and *University Advanced Standing

THEA 3722: Theatre History and Literature 2
Prerequisite(s): THEA 3721 and *University Advanced Standing

*University Advanced Standing - 24 credits completed, GPA 2.0 or higher MAT 1030 and ENGL 2010 or equivalent.

Program Requirements*

Must be 18 years of age at the time of departure

Minimum G.P.A.: 2.5

Physical requirements: Significant daily walking and sitting for classes.

Estimated Program Fee*

Fee Covers in-country housing and some transportation, side trips, entrance fees for group activities, play tickets,  international insurance.

All students are required to pay a $75 non-refundable application fee.

Tuition Waivers

Please contact the UVU Benefits Office for more information. In certain instances, tuition waivers may not apply for an international program.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Pell Grants and Federal Insured Student Loans may be applied to the program, based on eligibility. Applicant must have a current FAFSA form on file at the Financial Aid Office (BA 105) and complete all necessary application forms for financial aid.
