Moderator Lonny Ward - Choice Humanitarian

Ward

Lonny Ward has worked tirelessly since 2010 to help poverty-stricken people in the developing world countries create prosperity for themselves and their families. He has worked at CHOICE Humanitarian since 2015 and is currently the Director of Operations. He completed an MBA from the Marriott School of Management and a master's degree in Animal Science from Brigham Young University. Lonny has 28 years of experience in agribusiness management, including dairy, swine, sheep, horses, goats, and chickens, as well as farm products such as crops, almonds and pistachios. He has extensive experience with bovine embryo transfer and embryo sexing. Lonny served as the Mayor of Genola Utah and currently serves as the precinct chair for his geographical area. For 12 years he officiated high school wrestling. He is passionate about bringing together the resources of the prosperous world and the needs of the developing world into a synergistic network focused on individuals helping individuals. 

Lonny and his wife Erika have seven children and six grandchildren.

Bio

Kristin Yee - Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Relief Society)

Sister Kristin M. Yee was born in Sacramento, California, to Ryan R. Yee and Jaydean Fox McKay. Sister Yee received a bachelor’s degree in illustration and a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University. Sister Yee currently works as a Publishing Services special projects manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Prior to working at the Church, she worked with Disney Interactive Studios for 13 years. Her Church assignments have included the Primary General Advisory Council, stake Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, temple ordinance worker, and in various callings in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Sunday School organizations. Sister Yee loves hiking, being in the outdoors, travel, painting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Nadini Praveen - His Highness The Maharajas Government Law College

Nandini Praveen is currently a final year B.com LL.B (Hons) student at His Highness The Maharajas Government Law College, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She recently completed the 16th Online Course on International Refugee Law for Postgraduate Students with a full scholarship by International Institute of Humanitarian Law, Sanremo, Italy. She has worked with international NGOs like the Human Rights Law Network, Amnesty International and Guardian of Dreams etc. Nandini currently serves as the Board Member and Research & Development Head of Centre for Environment Law Research and Action, Niti Manthan (CELRA) in India.
She was a Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Scholar in the year 2021 and she was also a Student Scholar representing the Asian Research Institute for Environmental Law in the LawAsia Annual Conference, 2021. Nandini was invited as the Indian Delegate to participate in the South Africa-India Bilateral Youth Forum 2022 by the South African BRICS Youth Association and IYES. 
Nandini has also authored papers titled “Insurgency and the Right to Self-Determination in India” and “Understanding the Disabled Victims of Crimes: A Comprehensive Analysis in a Legal Perspective” which were presented in various National Seminars. Her research paper titled, “Climate Refugees: A Comprehensive and Legal Analysis to Understanding Climate Change-Induced Migration and Displacement” was presented at the Christoff Heyns African Moot International Human Rights Conference at the British University at Egypt in September 2022.
