Participants will explore practical tools to help generate a productive and meaningful dialogue between supervisor and employee.
Improve Workplace Performance through Coaching
Coaching is a critical skill for today's manager. With ever increasing pressure to do more with less, coaching can be a key to helping to reduce that pressure and make the most of your most valuable resource - people. Improve Workplace Performance through Coaching introduces participants to the skill of coaching and present a simple coaching model to approach workplace performance problems and create a supportive working environment. Participants will also initiate a simple self-improvement plan to further develop the concepts presented in the workshop.
Handling Employee Concerns: When Do I Investigate?
Employers need to investigate a variety of concerns and claims made by employees. Sooner or later, every supervisor will face the need to investigate employee concerns. A proper workplace investigation is an important tool in discovering problems and preventing their reoccurrence. Handling Employee Concerns: When Do I Investigate? will explore when to investigate, look at some basics for how to investigate, and consider when it is appropriate for Human Resources’ involvement in an investigation.
