Hadley Gasser
Program Manager, MBA Program
Get to know your mentor
Hadley believes that higher education is the key to a healthy society, and it is within higher education that successful social movements start. It is through education that people understand the structures of power and how different groups and institutions fit within that structure and begin to recognize inequities prevalent in society. It is Higher Education that introduces ideas of power, privilege, subordination, and other ways that minority and marginalized groups are kept in that space. Hadley has been working on ways to garner belonging in students, especially those from typically underrepresented and underserved groups. His work at UVU is aimed at increasing inclusion of diverse populations by helping faculty and staff to understand inclusivity and use inclusive language when interacting with other faculty, staff, and especially when working with students.
