Apply to Innovation Fellows

Managed by Institute of Design at Stanford University, Innovation Fellows is empowering U.S. undergraduate students to bring their ideas to life for the benefit of our economy and society. Effective in February 2015, Utah Valley University became the first institution in Utah to offer a University Innovation Fellows program. Every year, UVU chooses approximately four students to participate in this program. The next opportunity is for August to October of 2017. Most of the training occurs online although there is also a multi-day trip to Stanford University which is funded in large part by UVU.

The University Innovation Fellows program at UVU empowers students to become agents of change at their school. The Fellows are a national community of students who work to ensure that their peers gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to compete in the economy of the future. To accomplish this, the Fellows advocate for lasting institutional change and create opportunities for students to engage with entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, design thinking and venture creation at their schools.

Interested? If you are a currently active UVU student, submit your UVU application by April 1, 2017 (extended to 4/7/17) for consideration. UVU has four spots available this year.
