POSITION SUMMARY
BYU-Pathway Worldwide is a growing organization designed to offer affordable online
education to students around the world. The Institutional Research Department within
BYU-Pathway raises the collective intelligence of the organization by opening a window
into the performance of students, programs, and practices. That intelligence is seen
in strategies shaped by performance gaps, objectives set and pursued based on outcomes
analysis, decisions informed by data, and focused efforts aligned by a common set
of measurements. This is accomplished by producing institutional dashboards, implementing
mechanisms for gathering qualitative data, researching strategic issues, and creating
self-serve reporting tools that align to organizational priorities. These tools put
decision-ready data in the hands of leaders, while masking the complexity of harvesting,
analyzing, and visualizing that data.
The internship is a four-month, paid position located in Salt Lake City with no benefits
