- It is recommended that you talk with your Advisor several months before the semester that you desire to complete your internship.
- 60 working hours=1 internship credit.
- If your application is approved, you will be notified by email to register for the
internship course. This may take up to 3 weeks. Do not try and register for these
credits before you get confirmation that your internship application is approved.
- Can I use my current job for my internship? Yes! If you have been in your current job under 90 days or you can take on a new
project or new responsibilities related to your major. This is to ensure that it
is a learning experience for you rather than just free credit for work that you already
have done.
- You must have a mentor/supervisor at your internship location and have their contact
information ready before starting the application. You will need to list all of your
internship job duties as they relate to your field of study.
- Upon receipt of application approval by email, please refer to the registration instructions
and included Course Registration Number (CRN) to register for your course.
- Once you have registered for your class, you can then log onto your Canvas and complete
your internship course.
