College of Engineering & Technology Internship Prerequisites
Depending on your major, there are certain requirements that must be met before you can enroll in many internship courses within the College of Engineering & Technology. These prerequisites are separated by department and can be found below.
Architecture & Engineering Design (Drafting, Surveying, & Mapping)
EGDT 281R
- Completion of EGDT 1010, EGDT 1040, EGDT 1070 or 1071, EGDT 1020, EGDT 1100, EGDT 1200, EGDT 1300, and EGDT 1400 all with a grade of C- or higher.
Please be aware that EGDT students cannot register for an internship course after mid-semester.
SURV 481R
- Junior or Senior standing
- Matriculation into the Geomatics BS degree
- University Advanced Standing: This requires completing, and/or transferring in, at least 24 credits of college-level coursework (1000 or higher). Having a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Complete MAT 1030 or higher and ENGL 2010, 2020 or equivalent
Computer Science

- Completion of CS 1400, CS 1410, CS 2300, and CS 2420 with a grade of C+ better
- Completion of MATH 1210 and ENGL 1010 with a grade of C or better
- Overall GPA of 2.5 or higher
