University Studies Associates Degree Internship Application
Before beginning this application please do the following:
- Locate an internship opportunity. For help with this step please contact Amy Saville.
- Complete Internship Orientation and save your completion code . Your completion code will be displayed to you once you complete the Orientation and will be sent to you by email as well.
- Submit your application by selecting "Start Application" below. Have the following information ready before launching the document.
- Name and address of Internship Provider/Company
- Internship Site Supervisor name, email, and phone. The Internship Site Supervisor is the individual employed by your Internship Provider who will mentor you during your experience.
- Average number of hours that you will work per week
Special Instructions
- 281R is the course number for lower division elective internship credit. 481R is the course number for upper division elective internship credit. You can receive a minimum of 1 credit and a maximum of 8 credits in one semester.
- Internship needs to offer experience in new skills that apply to career goals, or experience in skills that will help you explore possible future career goals.
- Current employment will only be considered for credit if you’ve been employed 2 months or less, or if you can participate in a new project.
