Using the "eduroam" Wireless Network

What is "eduroam"? How does it work and can I use it?

Why "eduroam"?

First: To allow visitors from other colleges and universities (who also have "eduroam") to access our wireless network using their university login credentials

Second: To allow you to use your UVU ID to access their wireless network while visiting their campus

This way we can avoid the hassle of having to use their "Guest" network, and they can avoid the hassle of having to use ours

Please Note: Those who use UVU credentials for the eduroam wireless network while on UVU campus are essentially using the "Wolverine-Secure" network. There is no difference.

This is a list of all colleges and universities in Utah that use "eduroam"

  • University of Utah
  • Utah State University
  • Weber State University
  • Utah Valley University
  • Salt Lake Community College
  • Westminster College
