The Utah ASL Teachers Association (UT-ASLTA) is hosting the 2017 National ASLTA Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah this summer! We hope you're all planning to attend!

On May 13th we are hosting the ASL Elevated Walkathon to raise funds to help support the conference.Everyone is invited to participate - teachers, students, community members, family and friends!  We also need volunteers to help with the event!
Please share this information with your colleagues, and encourage your students to attend!  They DON'T need to be fluent signers to be involved.  This is a perfect place for them to meet others in the community and practice their signing skills.  If your students need to attend an ASL Community event for class, or an option for extra credit, this would be a wonderful opportunity!
Every Walkathon participant receives a raffle ticket to win a prize!  In addition, everyone who REGISTERS or signs up to VOLUNTEER by Friday, May 5th will receive TWO MORE TICKETS for the raffle!  Prizes include tickets to:

Thanksgiving Point
Red Butte Garden
Twilight Concert Series
Utah Symphony and Opera
This Is The Place Heritage Park

Please let me know if you have any questions.  After the Walkathon we will have UT-ASLTA Board member elections and lunch, followed by workshops.
Thank you for your support for our great ASL community!
