A partial housing scholarship is available to those who qualify and who submit and application before the February 15, 2018 deadline.
Applicants will still be considered for these programs but not the housing scholarship if submitted after the due date: Traditional, I Am First, Technology Management, CELP and Women in Leadership.

CAL L.E.A.D. Cohort

Criteria: 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: A two-year cohort that is open to all program and leadership experiences on campus. Program requirements can be tailored toward a specific leadership experience.

Description: A one-year cohort who focus their leadership learning and experiences on women in leadership.

I AM FIRST L.E.A.D. Cohort

Criteria: 2.75 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: First-generation students are pioneers in their families, often deciding to go to college at great personal and familial sacrifice. I Am First is a one-year program for freshmen first-generation college students who will receive mentoring from a successful first generation college graduate, and apply their leadership learning experience by participating in UVU's First-Generation Initiative.

TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT L.E.A.D. Cohort

Criteria: 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: A two year program specifically for technology management majors that provides succinct leadership development with requirements that align with their major.

U.S. ARMY ROTC L.E.A.D. Cohort

Criteria: 2.75 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: a two-year cohort that runs throughout your Military Science II and III years and allows you to refine your cadet leadership experience by focusing on reflecting, counseling, and team building. (Must be a member of the UVU US Army ROTC program.)

Cultural Envoy Leadership Program (C.E.L.P.) L.E.A.D. Cohort

Criteria: 2.75 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: is a two year cohort that is managed by the Multi-Cultural Center at Utah Valley University. C.E.L.P. participants learn to navigate and negotiate educational, community social spaces by sharing diverse cultural perspectives through opportunities for engagement and outreach in institutional sponsored initiatives. 



Do I Qualify?

In order to be considered for the L.E.A.D. Program, students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at UVU (or requirements as otherwise noted by each cohort). 

What is Expected/Required?

Students accepted to the L.E.A.D. Program must complete four semesters in order to receive High Distinction in Leadership. The program runs during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Please note that students must pay a $100 fee for each year they are in the program - each semester there are scholarship oppurtunuties available!
