You’re Invited to a Research Party!

Research PartiesWe know getting started on a research project is hard. There are so many topics you could write about. (Eeek!) Your professors might be asking for 10 or more pages from you. (Yikes!) There are a bajillion articles, books, and videos available to you as a UVU student. (OMG!) How do you even begin to tackle all of this?

We have an idea for you: research parties! On February 5 and March 4, from 3pm to 7pm, librarians will be in FL 213with free snacks!to help you get started. April 1 is cancelled due to COVID-19. We will help you create and refine topics. We’ll show you how to use our databases to quickly find the best information. We can even talk about how to get resources from other libraries, if you need them. Because the librarians at the Fulton Library all have subject specialties, we can help you create a research strategyfor your project no matter what your major is.

No appointment is needed for the research parties. Show up, grab something to eat, and sit down with a librarian to talk about your project.

Can’t make it? Get help from a librarian in-person, over the phone, or through chat at a time that fits your schedule.
