Summer 2020 at the Fulton Library

Student at checkout deskSummer semester has officially arrived at Utah Valley University, and the Fulton Library is open and ready to help! To keep library visitors and employees safe and healthy with the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, we’re operating on shortened hours with limited services that may change depending on campus conditions. For the most current information on available library services and hours, please check our COVID-19 information page or follow us on social media on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Help Us Help You!

When in the Fulton Library, we ask that you do the following to help keep us all safe. We appreciate your cooperation!

  • Practice Social Distancing: Maintain a distance of at least six feet between you and other people, including your friends and study partners. The computer labs on the first and second floors are open, but we’ve reduced the number of available computers to help maintain space between people. We also have protocols in place to help maintain distance while checking out library materials and speaking with library employees.
  • Practice Good Hygiene: Wash your hands with soap and water frequently, avoid touching your face, and cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Wear a Mask (if possible): Library employees will be wearing masks, and we'd love for you to do the same.

Online Library Services

Fortunately, many library resources are available online from the comfort of your home! The Fulton Library has thousands of online resources, from ebooks to streaming videos to databases packed with articles on all kinds of topics. Check out our online tutorials to get started finding books and articles.

If you have any questions about using the library or need help with a research question, our librarians are happy to help! Contact us through chat or email, or make an appointment to meet with a librarian virtually.

If you have a computer at home but need the software on library computers, you can access that software remotely! You can also download software such as Office 365 for free as a UVU student or employee. If you need help with software, contact the UVU Service Desk.

We wish you the best of luck in your academic pursuits this summer—go Wolverines!
