You will also find aviation adjacent materials (such as transportation, business, and weather) embedded in subject specific databases. Science Direct Journals

ScienceDirect offers full text access to more than 1,600 peer-reviewed journals in biology, psychology, technology, economics, nursing, health sciences, law, and more. Full text coverage ranges from 1995 to the present. This database can also be used to search the entire collection of over 9,000 titles from their first issues to the present. Web of Science

Provides access to the bibliographic and citation information for journal articles in multiple diciplines needed to find research data and analyze trends. No full text available.

Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board

The Transportation Research Record is a highly-cited, peer-reviewed journal that covers a wide variety of topics in transportation. This site offers access to full text journals from 1996 to the present.

Transportation Research Record Index

The TRB Publications Index contains more than 70,000 papers, articles, and reports published by the Transportation Research Board, Highway Research Board, Strategic Highway Research Program, or the Marine Board from 1923 to date.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) maintains this site especially for pilots and other aviation professionals. It can be used to monitor weather conditions around the United States, including turbulence, winds and temperatures, icing, and more.

National Transportation Library

Developed by the Research and Innovative Transportation Administration, this database can be used to locate books, articles, and government documents on all topics pertaining to transportation.
