Finding Articles

Once I'm in ScienceDirect, I use the search techniques I showed you in Part 2. I generally start with basic searches, but I may need to try different keyword combinations since articles sometimes use different words than I do. I may also need to try more than one database to find the information I need. Databases let me limit my search to scholarly articles or articles from a time period I choose.

The search results show me which articles the database thinks are most relevant for my topic. I can also use the options the database gives me to narrow my search to subtopics or date.
