2.4 Creating Search Statements

Phrase Searching

In most search engines and article databases, I can search for a phrase, or two or more words that describe a particular idea or concept, by putting it in quotation marks. This helps me create more precise searches when I want two or more words to always appear together:

"Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus"
"preventive medicine"
"health insurance"
