Licensing & Trademarks

All campus entities are required to use an approved licensed vendor when printing any products with the trademarked name(s), initials, marks, logos, wordmarks, seals, and indicia of Utah Valley University.  The licensing process to onboard new vendors can take 6-12 weeks, so please be sure to plan orders accordingly or refer to the "Approved Licensed Vendor" list below.

  • Campus: Approved Vendor List

  • Any time campus entities order any item bearing the UVU name or logos in any form, you are required to use an "Approved Licensed Vendor."
  • The preferred method of ordering such items is to order through the UVU Bookstore.  If, for some reason the Bookstore cannot meet your needs, you may contact and order from an Approved Licensed Vendor, directly from the approved listing (see PDF document below). The approved licensed vendor is required to submit all product designs to Learfield's Trademarx® System for UVU review and approval, before producing the item.
  • Below is the most current Approved Licensed Vendor listing. If the vendor you want to use is not listed, feel free to encourage the vendor to apply for a UVU product license. (See "Campus: Getting A Vendor Licensed").

  • Campus: Get A New Vendor Licensed

  • The licensing process to onboard new vendors can take 6-12 weeks, so please be sure to plan orders accordingly or refer to the "Approved Licensed Vendor" list.
    1. Check to see if the vendor for your project has already been officially licensed with Utah Valley University. (See the "Approved Licensed Vendor List.")
    2. Decide what type of license your vendor needs (see “Standard License vs. Internal Usage License”).
    3. Have your vendor download the Licensed Vendor Application
    4. After your vendor fills out the application, have them mail it, along with applicable samples, product liability insurance and licensing fees, to

      Learfield Licensing Partners, LLC
      ATTN: License Application
      8900 Keystone Crossing, Suite 605
      Indianapolis, IN 46240
Learfield Licensing Application Hotline: (317) 669-0808

    5. Learfield Licensing Partners will handle vendor approvals and contact University Marketing for university approval. Learfield will then provide your vendor with access to all the correct UVU logos and word marks. Please do not give any vendor official UVU logos.
