Students must be currently enrolled as a mathematics education major in good standing
at UVU.
Students must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Students must be admitted to the Licensure Program in the School of Education.
Students must have recommendations from at least one UVU mathematics faculty.
Students must teach for two years in secondary schools in a high needs school district
for each year the scholarship is awarded. If this requirement is not met, the scholarship
becomes a loan and must be repaid immediately to UVU. Students must sign a promissory
note in the UVU Collections Department before scholarship funds can be awarded
