Non-Resident Tuition Waiver Scholarship

The MBA Office has a limited number of Non-Resident Tuition Waiver Scholarships available to award each year. Award amounts are provided for one year only. These scholarship funds are available to students admitted to an MBA program based on academic merit which includes GMAT/GRE scores and GPA. After a student is admitted to the program, scholarships are assigned on a first come, first awarded basis. Award amount waives the tuition portion in excess of resident tuition rates for Fall and Spring semesters (All students are charged resident tuition during Summer semester). Students are responsible to pay the remaining balance of resident tuition and fees. Students are encouraged to first review, consider, and apply for residency in an effort to reserve the available waivers for those students who are not able to obtain residency (for example - international students, those who may have only recently moved to Utah).

Applying for Residency

To apply for residency, students must do the following:

  1. Complete the residency application found on the Student Tab of myUVU.
  2. Check their UV Link email for status updates or requests for more information.
  3. Scan required documents for the Residency Application based on notifications received from the Admission Office. Applications will not be reviewed until all required documents have been received. 
  • Application period for Fall Semester - March 15 through August 1
  • Application period for Spring Semester - October 1 through December 1
