EARNED Endorsement EMPHASIS
About the Program
Students who have completed all requirements and received an endorsement from the Utah State Board of Education to their Utah teaching license in one of the six qualified subject areas may apply up to 12 credit hours toward an M.Ed. with an endorsement emphasis at UVU*.

To be considered for admission, individuals interested in earning their M.Ed. at UVU must successfully complete all admission criteria.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average in undergraduate work.
- Completion of all application criteria.
- Interview with School of Education Graduate Committee.

- English as a Second Language
- Elementary Mathematics
- Elementary STEM
- Reading 1
- Gifted and Talented
Local school districts have partnered with UVU and other universities in the state to provide the required coursework for these endorsements.
