Multicultural Student Council’s mission is to advocate for the success of underrepresented students by creating a sense of belonging that validates marginalized identities, facilitate spaces that increase awareness around cultural diversity and social inequality and prove opportunities for educational equity.
Multicultural Student Services values interactions among individuals with varying traditions, cultures, identities, genders, expressions, orientations, ages, abilities, religious beliefs, economic backgrounds, and racial/ethnic origins. We encourage all to apply that are currently or will be a full-time student at Utah Valley University!

MSC members will be able to plan and implement meaningful programs and events, while also enhancing their interpersonal and leadership skills.
All MSC students receive a UVU scholarship for successful Multicultural Student Council participation and completion. Depending on position type, scholarship amounts may cover up to the full cost of in-state tuition. Scholarship amounts can vary with each semester and depending upon fund availability.
MSC Scholarships cannot be deferred for future semesters and can only be appealed once.
