  • UVU’s Financial Aid Office will post a waiver of tuition and fees to your host school account.
  • All students are responsible for payment of fees which are assessed as a condition of enrollment, such as course or lab fees and other additional costs incurred with course registration.
  • Plan B students (host pay): Follow the directions found here.

Textbooks

You can purchase textbooks through the UVU Bookstore online here. In lieu of traditional texts, some courses use integrated textbooks or materials that students access online through Canvas. The charge for Canvas e-books is assessed at registration and will appear on your student bill. It is often wise to wait until the first week of class to purchase your textbooks to see what the instructor plans to use.

ID card

After registering for classes, get a UVU OneCard or UV PlusCard at Campus Connection in the Sorensen Student Center. Learn more here. Your UV OneCard gives you access to the Fulton Library, athletic events, student activities, and computer labs, as well as a 5% discount at UVU dining services if you open a UVU Greenbucks account for on-campus purchases. You can also activate your UTA bus pass at Campus Connection.

Parking permits

Parking permits are required to park anywhere on UVU’s Orem Campus and West Campus. Parking permits are available from the Parking Office at 936 S. 400 West or online here. The Parking Office website also provides parking maps, parking regulations, and other information to assist you in parking on campus. You can also contact the Parking Office at 801-863-8188 Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Housing

Student housing information is available here. UVU does not own or manage any housing or dormitory options on or off campus. The department works with local landlords to provide accurate housing information so students can choose the most suitable housing while attending UVU. You may also email the department at housing@uvu.edu or call the housing hotline at 801-863-8659.

Please plan on meeting with me when you arrive at UVU and know that I am here to help you in any way I can.
