The Outdoor Adventure Center and the Science departments have teamed up to offer Natural History Excursions for school credit!
Come and experience "hands on learning", a perfect opportunity to apply education learned in the classroom in an outdoor setting. Register through the UVU Class Catalog under Biology or Geology 202R, participants will receive one elective science credit.
September 10th - 13th, 2015
Spend four days with UVU science faculty sea kayaking down the green river's Labyrinth Canyon, studying astronomy, botany, geology, zoology, and archeology in a spectacular natural setting. Learn about one of the most unique desert environments. Sign up for Science Excursion (BIOL/GEOL 202R) and earn 1 hour of science elective credit. Special course fee of $185 covers the cost of the trip and includes transportation, group equipment, sea kayak, shuttle and launching fees.
