Quality Improvement and Provider Services Specialist (Nov2014-present)

  • Process state grants and non-face-to-face training packets for child care providers
  • Manage an annual budget for office purchasing pro card
  • Create and update marketing campaigns and materials, grant applications and documents, Care About Childcare website flyers, and presentation handouts for both Care About Childcare agencies and the Office of Child Care
  • Work on multiple group and single projects statewide with the Office of Childcare, DWS, and other Care About Childcare agencies
  • Input providers’ Care About Childcare quality indicators and criteria verification and pictures into the CAC/QRIS database
  • Generate and analyze reports as specified in the agency annual program plan
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key early childhood programs and community agencies such as Child Care Licensing, Help Me Grow, Head Start, and Afterschool programs
  • Instruct CAC/QRIS quality indicator classes at Care About Childcare-UVU provider resource nights
  • One-on-one individualize criteria training for child care providers
  • One-on-one consultations with child care providers on professional development plans and PDA awards
  • One-on-one instruction with child care provider on state Immunization reporting procedures
  • Redesign and oversee the Care About Childcare-UVU website and Facebook page
  • Create and distribute the Care About Childcare quarterly newsletter
  • Assist in the daily operation of the Care About Childcare agency
