Monika Rosborough-Bowman is currently Adjunct Faculty at UVU and a cellist with the Ballet West Orchestra, the Orchestra at Temple Square, and the Cathedral of the Madeleine. She has performed with the Utah Symphony and the Utah Chamber Artists, among other professional ensembles, as well as local recording studios for TV and movie soundtracks. She has a Master’s degree in Cello Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University. She has performed throughout Western Europe, with solo recitals in her native Italy and Switzerland. Monika has served on the music faculties of BYU-Provo and BYU-Idaho for many years. She directs the Lyceum Crescendo youth orchestra, and has been a coach for several youth music ensembles, including BYU SummerFestival, Lyceum Music Festival, and Castle Rock Music Camp (St. George, Utah). Monika is a visual artist and enjoys reading, hiking, camping, performing music and traveling with her husband Marcel, a violinist, and their four musical children: Ambrynn, Jaantje, Johannes and Chrisvenn.
