Assistant to Dean, Finance and Operations, Woodbury School of Business 2003 –present Oversee multi-million dollar budget, human resource and facility operations for largest business school in the State of Utah.

  • Work with university administration in implementing and planning budgetary priorities for each fiscal year.
  • Work directly with university budget directors to allocate resources and ensure proper budgeting.
  • Manage the daily operational activities of maintaining a multi-million dollar budget and endowment.
  • Ensure purchasing policy and protocols are followed as outlined by state law and university guidelines, including monitoring of procurement card use.
  • Train and provide support to all department chairs, administrative staff and faculty in management of departmental budgets, payroll, management of faculty workload, and human resources.
  • Supervise all grant activities confirming that grant guidelines are followed and funds are dispensed as outlined.
  • Work with foundation personnel in the control and designation of all donated monies and endowments.
  • Oversee facility and infrastructure management including remodels, maintenance, acquisition of furniture, and assignment of personnel offices.
  • Direct the human resource functions for all new and existing faculty and staff, including creation of ePAFs and approval of departmental teaching eSAF’s, etc.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of matters related to Dean’s office.
  • Award all School of Business scholarships warranting all institutional and federal guidelines are followed.
  • Oversee faculty workload implementation and planning.
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee commencement events for the Woodbury School of Business.

Current University Service

Vice-President, Professional Association of Campus Employees (PACE), 2018 – present. Oversee bylaws & procedures, legislative affairs, policy review, and senators. Facilitate projects and initiatives involving constitution and bylaws, part-time/off-campus employees, and the PACE Board transition. Serve as a liaison and voting member on President’s Executive Leadership council, Board of Trustees, and President’s Council when PACE President is unable to do so.
