Juliann Fritz is a faculty member of the Department of Communication at Utah Valley University where she teaches public relations. 

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Fritz worked for PR/advertising agencies, nonprofits, and an Olympic sports organization. Originally from the East Coast, she moved to Utah to work for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (aka U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding) where she was the director of public relations for nearly a decade. Over the course of her career, she’s managed public relations programs for a mix of corporations and community organizations including McDonald’s, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, PacifiCorp, Deloitte Consulting, Natural History Museum of Utah, Park City Summit County Arts Council, George Forestry Association, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. When not teaching, you can find her enjoying several hobbies from making art to skiing, and hiking.
