Native American and Global Indigenous literatures, 19th and 20th Century American literature, Native Studies, Black Studies, Settler Colonial Studies, Post- and Anticolonial Theories, Food Studies. Currently working on projects involving C.L.R. James, Herman Melville, and Global Indigenous maritime laborers; and SPAM(R) poetics in contemporary Indigenous writing.
