JULIE K. NELSON is a wife and mother of five children. She is Assistant Professor and Internship Field Coordinator for the Family Science program at UVU. She received First Place in Best Online Course Design at UVU in 2018 and the UVU Faculty Senate Teaching Excellence Award in 2013. Her scholarly research and relationship articles have been published in journals and news media outlets. She is the author of two books: Keep it Real and Grab a Plunger: 25 tips for surviving parenthood and Parenting With Spiritual Power. Julie has been a parenting guest expert on TV and regular contributor on BYU radio.
