I have been the Director of the Academic Counseling Center at UVU since 2010 and have worked at UVU since 2002.  Prior to joining UVU, I worked in the mental health industry with the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah and a youth residential treatment facility as a therapist and youth counselor.  I attended Southern Utah University on a football scholarship and earned a BS in Sociology/Criminal Justice and an MS in Counseling Psychology.  I have one daughter and 3 sons who are all active in competitive soccer, baseball, football, wrestling, and basketball. I enjoy watching, coaching, and playing sports, camping, fishing, ATV riding, reading about history, watching movies,  and gardening in my limited free time.  I enjoy working with college students, seeing them succeed, overcome challenges, and find success in life.
