Dan Bryce is the instructor for the Tuba/Euphonium studio at Utah Valley University. He performs regularly on tuba with the Utah Brass Quintet (the faculty quintet in residence at UVU), and with the Orchestra at Temple Square. As a recording artist he can be heard on numerous television, CD, and movie sound tracks, and can be seen often on weekly live televised broadcasts of Music and the Spoken Word. Dan has performed with some of the world's great orchestras inlcuding the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops orchestras, the Utah Symphony and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Brigham Young University, a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School, and is completing requirements for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University. When not performing or teaching Dan enjoy's mountain biking, photography, and completing Tough Mudders. He lives in Provo Utah with his wife and 5 children.
