Assistant Professor--Family Studies
I teach Marriage and Relationships Skills, Human Sexuality, Family Systems and Dynamics, and Introduction to Marriage and Family Therapy.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office">
My research interests include marriage and sexuality, the transition to sexual activity in marriage, early marital adjustment, and premarital education and marital enrichment.
I am a Certified Family Life Educator and have presented many workshops and seminars in the community on romantic relationships and marital enhancement. I also have a small private therapy practice where I specialize in couples.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University, and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University.
