Farah Sanders serves as public relations and speech communication faculty in the Department of Communication at Utah Valley University. Her research includes work on communication instruction with technology, public relations as it relates to strategic communication planning, and teaching to multiple learning styles in the communication classroom.  She is currently researching how the preparedness and readiness skills taught in a public relations case studies course help aid graduates in gaining employment in the field of public relations and communication.

She has received both national and international awards for her advisement of public relations campaign development and execution including the Utah PRSA Golden Spike Award for non-profit campaign execution, and Platinum Hermes Creative Award for public relations campaign and pro-bono work, and honorable mentions with the PRSSA Bateman competition.


Ph.D.: Education with an emphasis in Communication, Walden University (currently pursuing)

M.Ed.: Education with an emphasis in Communication Instruction, Southern Utah University

B.S.: Communication and History, Utah Valley University
