Course Audit

Auditing a Class

Students may choose to be enrolled in a class as an "auditor". This means the student attends or participates in class without receiving credit, usually for personal enrichment. To do so, the student completes the Audit Form before the audit deadline and returns it to the Registrar's Office (BA 113).

Audited Courses:

  1. Show on the transcript with a grade of "AU".
  2. Do not count in financial aid credit requirements.
  3. Do not fill any graduation requirements.
  4. May not be changed at any time to be credit-bearing.
  5. Cost the same as credit-bearing courses (except for senior citizens).
