Scheduled tours typically take an hour. Longer or shorter tours may be scheduled if
they do not overlap with another reservation. The final tours of the day are scheduled
at 7:00pm.
Tours must be scheduled at least four business days in advance.
Docents can meet with tour groups of up to 60 people.
We encourage larger groups to break into smaller groups and alternate visits.
Groups may schedule tours beginning May 1 for the following academic year.
If you would like a docent, please indicate this in the notes.
Requested tour times are not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email from
UVU Roots of Knowledge.
Field trips take 45 minutes to an hour. The final tours of the day are scheduled at
7:00pm.
Field trips must be requested at least two weeks in advance.
Field trips are not limited to a specific group size.
Tours for school groups are free, led by trained docents, and tailored to the age-level
of each group.
We require one chaperone for every 6 students. Students must remain with their chaperones
at all times, regardless of age.
UVU will provide bus parking instructions after the field trip is confirmed.
Field trips may be requested as early as May 1 for UVU’s fall semester (late August
to mid-December) or September 1 for UVU’s spring semester (early January to late April).
Schools may not visit during the first two weeks of the fall or spring semesters.
