Alternative Breaks

Be the change you want to see in the world and join us on an Alternative Break! Our trips take students outside the Utah Valley to engage in community projects and learn about social issues such as poverty and homelessness, food insecurity, health, literacy, environmental issues, and many more.

An on-campus food pantry is available to students, faculty, and staff who may be struggling to make ends meet or with any type of food insecurity.

Want to do service, but are short on time?

Stop in at the Service Bar to participate in a micro service project that’s ready and waiting for you! Spend 5 minutes or 45 minutes—whatever time you can give contributes to our collective efforts.

The Service Bar is located in the lobby of SC 105. We’re open M-F, 8-5. See you there!

Coordinate a new project

Are you passionate about a cause and ready to act? A small amount of funds are reserved each year to support student project proposals made to the Impact Fellows. If you are interested in coordinating a new project, please submit this form and you will be contacted by the Impact Fellows about the review process.

*The majority of the Impact Fellows planning is set by the first day of class.
