Michelle O. Taylor is the Vice President of Student Affairs at Utah Valley University. She has twenty years of experience in higher education leadership. Michelle earned her Ph.D. from the University of Utah in Social Work with an emphasis in policy and administration. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and promotes social change through the development and implementation of innovative programs and initiatives. Dr. Taylor has secured numerous grants and won many awards, most recently recognized as a passionate advocate for women, she received the Rainmaker Award for Outstanding Service and Advanced Advocacy. She has dedicated her career to creating access to higher education for underrepresented populations, first generation, women and individuals with disabilities.
