Police Officer Selection Test (POST)

The Police Officer Selection Test is administered on Mondays at 1:00pm, by appointment only. For specific dates and times, call our office at (801) 863-8269. The cost is $35.00 (cash or credit). All candidates need to come into our office at least 24 business hours in advance to register. Bring valid government issued photo identification and your payment at the time of registration.


The TEAS is a computer based exam that is given to students who have received authorization from the UVU Nursing Department. The TEAS is a scholastic aptitude test that is used as a component of the selection process for admitting students into the UVU Nursing program. It consists of four sections: Math, Reading, English, and Science. The test is administered on a walk-in basis, but the last test is given out 4 hours prior to closing.

Students will need approval from the Nursing Department to retake this test. Retake fee will be the same as the regular fee. Non-students testing for another school may take or retake the TEAS anytime throughout the year.

The cost of the exam is $50.00 Scores are available upon completion of the test. If you need a reprint of your official copy of your TEAS scores please contact UVU Testing Services at 801-863-8544. There will be a $3.00 reprint fee.

Scratch paper is allowed but must be issued by the Testing Center. No personal scratch paper or calculators are permitted.

The PSB/HOAE exam is for students applying to the Dental Hygiene Program. It consists of five sections: Academic Aptitude (45 min), Spelling (15 min), Reading Comprehension (30 min), Information/Natural Science (30 min), and Vocational Adjustment (15 min). Testing is available on a walk-in basis. UVU students are allowed two retakes per application period.

The total time allowed for the exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
The cost of the exam is $30.00

Scratch paper is allowed but must be issued by the testing center. No personal scratch paper or calculators are permitted.

The ACTFL OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) is a test distributed by Language Testing International for assessing oral proficiency.

Registration takes place online at, where you may select Utah Valley University as the proctor. When it asks for the proctor’s email address use Upon completion of the application, an email is sent to Utah Valley University. The Candidate needs to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled call.

There is an administrative fee of $20.00 to take the test with Testing Services Hours: Mon-Friday: 10:00 am - 7:45 pm.
