Web Community Meetings will be held regularly, and will be an opportunity for everyone working with the web on campus to meet together to learn about the latest web technologies, standards and procedures being used on campus, discuss issues and questions, get help, have discussions and provide feedback so that trainings and subsequent meetings can be as effective and helpful as possible.
As the Web Community gets going, we would love to have as much interaction with everyone across campus that is doing web-related work as possible. To that end, we're hoping to plan topic-specific trainings in addition to the introductory OU Basics Training. These could cover a variety of topics, such as using assets on your site, how to customize your slider, or how to use the Web Style Guide.
By learning more about how to use individual web tools, Web Community members will be better-equipped to meet the web needs of their departments and organizations.
OmniUpdate provides "webinar" training sessions on the features and functionality of OU Campus. These are in-dept discussions an presentations about how to get the most out of OU Campus, and we want to help facilitate making these presentations more accessible to the entire UVU Web Community.
