National Advisory Board

UVU’s Woodbury School of Business (WSB) has become the largest business school in the State of Utah, with just over 5,000 students and currently ranks in the top 5% of global business schools.  With its growth, the WSB has many needs to be met, and the best way to address those needs is through the formation of a top-notch National Advisory Board (NAB). NAB members play a vital role in helping shape the strategic direction and operations of the school by providing guidance, financial support, mentoring for students, contacts to expand recruiting and placement programs, and providing advocacy and support for all other WSB programs.

Other Student Resources

The greatest attribute for women in this profession is communication skills, which includes the ability to read body language and nonverbal cues, good listening skills, and effective displays of emphasizing fresh ideas to customers. Women in this industry tend to drive a more inclusive way of leading. This approach facilitates collaboration and the cross sharing of information. A woman’s ability to tap into this experience can help navigate complex situations and manage the behaviors and expectations of customers and colleagues. It also helps us identify and connect with others from a place of empathy and understanding.
