Understanding Students’ Educational Experiences

Project Summary

This research project takes a communicative approach to study UVU students’ educational experiences by focusing on intersections of identity. We are particularly interested in how lived realities of UVU female students influence feelings and experiences of inclusion, success, motivation, and support within the broader context of UVU.

Female Faculty Forum

Did you know that, as of July 1, 2019 there are less than 50 fully-tenured female professors at Utah Valley University?

We believe that female representation in the classroom is critical to UVU’s mission of student success and inclusion.

To address the issue of low female faculty retention at UVU, the Women’s Success Center, Office of Teaching and Learning and the Utah Women in Higher Education network invite you to the Female Faculty Forum.

This forum is a series of informal events with the goal to guide and inspire more female faculty at UVU to complete the retention, tenure and promotion process.
