Don't let the various e-mail systems at UVU confuse you.  This website will give you the information you need to become a UVU e-mail power user.  You'll also find information about the email security we provide to ensure your email is safe and delivered as quickly as possible.

UVU E-Mail Systems

The UVLink e-mail system (called LinkMail) is used most by Students.  Some Faculty and Staff also use the UVLink e-mail system.   Everyone at UVU has an account the system.  E-mail addresses on the UVLink e-mail system will always be @uvlink.uvu.edu.

The GroupWise e-mail/collaboration system is used most by Faculty and Staff.  All full- and part-time employees of UVU have accounts on the GroupWise system.  E-mail addresses on the GroupWise system will always be @uvu.edu.

The Blackboard Vista course management system also provides an email system.  We recommend using the email system within Blackboard Vista for all your class related messaging.  This email system is closed, meaning it can't send email to or receive email from people outside the system.
