The College of Science and Department of Chemistry are committed to keeping our students and employees safe. Following are some steps we are taking to minimize transmission of COVID-19:
- For Spring 2021 we are offering classes in traditional online, live streamed online, and face-to-face formats. For face-to-face classes we limit in-class attendance to less than half of the room capacity in order to ensure distancing.
- Masks or other face coverings are required in classrooms and lab rooms.
- We ask all students, faculty, and staff to stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms that may be indicative of COVID-19.
For information on science related to the novel coronavirus, please see the Science of COVID FAQ page.
For information on the UVU response to COVID-19, please visit the UVU return to Campus web page, and feel free to contact the Department Chair of Chemistry (Merrill Halling, merrill.halling@uvu.edu) and/or the Dean of the College of Science (Daniel Horns, horsnda@uvu.edu).
