BIOGRAPHY

Background
I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the College of Engineering and Technology at Utah Valley University. I love teaching database and computer programming courses, including desktop, web, and mobile app development. In my research, I am interested generally in using artificial intelligence methods to manage the information overload problem. In particular, I am interested in the fields of Information Retrieval, Information Visualization, Text and Data Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Business Intelligence and Data Management.
